Transfer/Tour – Naples Train Station to Sorrento via Pompeii Private Tour

It’s time to soak up some of Italy’s most breathtaking natural beauty, leaving Rome for the Amalfi Coast. Travel by high-speed train to Naples where your private driver will meet you and take you to witness one of the fascinating ruins of Pompeii. Your private guide will meet you at Pompeii for your private guided tour of this ancient city left covered in ash nearly 2,000 years ago during the massive 79 AD Mount Vesuvius eruption. It was forgotten to time until the 18th century when it was accidentally discovered. Today, visitors can get a good glimpse of what life was like so many centuries ago, complete with well-preserved chariot tracks that can still be seen in the streets, baths, bakeries, a forum, amphitheater, and brothels. Upon arrival, you’ll meet a local guide for a private tour who will provide insight about it all for a deep moving experience. As you explore the site, you’ll be under the shadow of towering Mount Vesuvius, providing a reminder of how powerful Mother Nature can be. Continue to the enchanting seaside town of Sorrento with its citrus groves, historic architecture, and delicious limoncello.

              Full-Day Amalfi, Positano & Ravello

A full-day private tour today is sure to be a mesmerizing experience as you travel the breathtaking Amalfi Coast to explore two of its top villages, including Positano, one of the crown jewels. It’s carved right into the cliffs with precipitous streets filled with medieval buildings and colorful homes painted in pastel hues. A short walking tour brings you to see the highlights and you’ll have time to explore on your own too. Afterward, continue to the town of Amalfi for a narrated walk through the Old Town area, which includes the impressive St. Andrea Cathedral, with time to shop or enjoy lunch independently.  Finish with Ravello which is home to several must-visit places like 13th-century Villa Rufolo which overlooks Piazza Vescovado, the cultural and historical center of town. From Villa Cimbrone, one can take in one of the most famous panoramas in Italy over both the Amalfi and Cilento coasts.

              Full Day Tour of Capri

One of the top things to do while visiting the Amalfi Coast is to take a day trip to Capri. While it’s only about two miles wide and four miles long, it’s jam-packed with Mediterranean charms. Discover the narrow maze of streets lined with local eateries, fashion boutiques with the big designer names, and arcades with shops that sell handcrafted items like jewelry made from gold and coral. In Piazza Umberto, the main square, you’ll see a lovely white church and a number of open-air cafes for unwinding while the world goes by. Visit the gorgeous gardens of Augustus, Villa San Michele, built on the ruins of Roman Emperor Tiberius’s palace, and enjoy a fabulous view over Capri town and the harbor.
