              Rome

              DAY 1 Rome: Rome Arrival
              Begin this fun family adventure in Rome. You’ll be met by your driver for private transfer to your hotel from the airport, with the remainder of the day at your leisure. After settling in, you might want to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air to beat any jet lag while getting a preview of the Eternal City. Just a block from the Tiber River, many sights are within walking distance, including the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps which can all be reached in 15 minutes on foot. Along the way, there are many enticing cafes where you can fuel up with coffee and enjoy aperitifs, the perfect opportunity to unwind while soaking up the atmosphere.

              DAY 2 Rome: Rome for Kids Tour

              Today you’ll embark on an unforgettable adventure as you uncover extraordinary historical treasures in Rome. Join our seasoned guide for an in-depth look at the iconic Colosseum, the city’s most famous symbol, where you’ll be immersed in the rich history of the centuries-old amphitheater. You’ll learn about the pivotal role it played in ancient Roman society as well as in the lives of the gladiators with the chance to play gladiator for the day. In fact, young explorers will even get to learn and emulate the fighting techniques of real gladiators for an entertaining and educational immersion into Roman history. There will be a variety of engaging activities and interactive learning experiences, along with time to ask questions for memories of a lifetime.

              DAY 3 Rome: Private Rome Uncovered by Electric Tuk-Tuk Tour
              Discovering Rome by electric tuk-tuk, this three-hour “warm-up” tour will give your feet a rest as you admire the beauty of the main points of interest in the city while traveling in style. You’ll stop in front of the Colosseum for another chance to marvel at the majestic monument and perhaps take advantage of the photo op. See the famous Circus Maximus and Roman Forum, the religious, social, and political center of ancient Rome, and marvel at one of the world’s most beautiful squares, Piazza Navona with its three spectacular fountains. Among the many other highlights, you’ll enter the world’s smallest independent state, Vatican City to see St. Peter’s Basilica, and ride up Janiculum Hill for the best panoramic view of Rome.

              DAY 4 Sorrento: Rome to Sorrento via Train & Private Transfer
              After three nights in Rome, it’s time to head to Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. Set along a sheer cliff, high above the turquoise sea, it’s one of the most famous resort towns in Italy with breathtaking views, elegant streets, and lush gardens. This morning, your drive will provide private transfer to the Rome Termini Train Station where you’ll  catch the highspeed train to Naples, a 90-minute ride. Upon arrival, meet another one of our drivers for private transfer to your hotel, just off Piazza Tasso in the heart of Sorrento. You’ll have the rest of the day at your leisure. The sun-soaked piazza is the perfect spot to grab an outdoor table, enjoy people- watching, and an espresso or limoncello, the region’s signature liqueur.

              DAY 5 Sorrento: Private Pizza-Making and Mozzarella-Tasting Tour
              Today’s tour starts with an immersion into Italy’s most renowned flavors. The first stop is a historic citrus grove where you’ll get to explore and enjoy numerous tastings, including fresh- picked oranges and lemons along with marmalade, lemonade, artisanal olive oil, and rustic breads. Afterward, you’ll head to Turuziello Holiday Farm for a private pizza-making and mozzarella-tasting experience. Start by learning how mozzarella is made while watching an expert demonstration and then sit down for a tasting with locally made wine and salami, showcasing some of the best of the region’s culinary delights. The grand finale is pizza time. You’ll discover the secrets of making traditional Neapolitan pizza from a seasoned master before enjoying the results of your efforts in the citrus grove.

              DAY 6 Sorrento: Private Half-Day tour of Positano
              Get ready for an unforgettable journey on this private half-day tour that will bring you to Positano, often named the prettiest village on the Amalfi Coast as a vertical panorama of color, with pastel-painted homes, silverly pebble beaches, the green of the Monti Lattari, and the sparkling blue of the sea. From here, you’ll hop on the highspeed train for a three-hour journey to Florence. After reaching the Florence Santa Maria Novella Station, you’ll have another driver there to greet you for private transfer to your hotel in Florence. The rest of the day is all yours – with the hotel nestled between the Church of Santa Croce and the banks of the Arno River, you’re perfectly situated for doing some exploring on foot. Or, if you prefer to relax, there’s a rooftop terrace that offers a stunning panoramic view over the city.

              DAY 8 Florence: Private Artisans Uncovered
              You’ll have more time for exploring on your own today, but the highlight is a three-hour private tour. Join a local guide to walk through hidden streets, far from the well-beaten tourist trail. It’s no surprise that in the city that introduced the world to the likes of Michelangelo and da Vinci, that artisan culture is still at the heart of life. Florence was renowned throughout Europe during the Middle Ages for its artisan workshops where beautiful items like mosaics, jewelry, leather goods, and fine paper were produced and have continued through modern times. Learn all about it firsthand by visiting an artisan who will tell you about their craft and provide instructions so you can create a unique piece of your own.

              DAY 9 Florence: Tuscany E-Bike Tour
              Today you’ll get a private guided bike tour that combines the best of southern Florence with areas of Siena for an immersion into the captivating beauty of the Tuscan countryside with its picturesque vineyards and rolling hills. You can choose from a range of routes with something for everyone from casual riders to experienced cyclists, traveling with an expert guide who knows the most scenic paths. You’ll roll across the roads of Chianti, enjoying magnificent views of the vines, stopping at farm stands and tasting rooms along the way to sample the exquisite local wines and delectable foods.               DAY 10 Venice: Florence to Venice via Train & Private Transfer

              Continuing your journey to the final destination of your 11-night trip, today your private driver will provide transfer back to the Santa Maria Novella Train Station where you’ll catch the highspeed train to Venice. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the “Floating City” that’s just a short walk from iconic spots like the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. The rest of the day is at your leisure. It’s a joy just to wander the meandering alleyways with something to discover around nearly every corner. Perhaps head to the famous square that Napoleon once called the “drawing room of Europe.” It’s home to many historic cafes like Caffe Florian, opened back in 1720 to satisfy the resident’s increasing appetite for coffee.

              DAY 11 Venice: Rowing Like a Gondolier
              On the last full day of this grand adventure, you’ll get to become a real Venetian Gondolier. While you might think that rowing around the waterways and enjoying the sights would be a rather relaxed job, gondoliers must undergo rigorous training that includes passing rowing and swimming tests, taking courses in a foreign language, Venetian culture and history, and rowing. While you won't have to do all that, you’ll learn the basics of the art of rowing, starting with a primer on the core techniques, movements, and various positions. You’ll board a traditional batelina and make your way through the canals and beneath the bridge to see the sights from a unique perspective. Your tour concludes with a Venetian aperitif at the rowing pier.

              DAY 12 Venice Departure
              After 11 exciting days exploring Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, Florence, and Venice, it’s time for this enchanting trip to come to an end.
